Just over a year ago, the youth of this country used the EndSars protests to make various demands towards moving Nigeria towards a new direction. One of such demands was for the youths to occupy elective positions in the country.
A good product of that agitation is that more young people have started showing interest in running for political offices and this is highly encouraging.
Evidence has shown in recent years that the younger members of the National Assembly are doing much better in making positive impact on their constituencies than their older counterparts.
